Studio Policy

At Refined Pilates Studio, we have thoughtfully designed this policy page to ensure a positive, safe, and seamless experience for both our clients and team. These guidelines set clear expectations, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold the exceptional quality of our services. Our goal is to promote wellness and fitness through personalized instruction and a supportive environment. We are here to guide individuals ready to reclaim their power, realign their spirit and become the best version of themselves.

Membership usage

  • All membership credits may be utilized to book reformer, mat and sauna sessions.
  • All sessions must be booked through our website or app (available in both android/apple app stores)
  • All clients must book their own sessions on their own account- guest feature is disabled.
  • All credits must be used before the renewal date.
  • Reservations made with credits that overlap your renewal date will be deducted from the next membership period.

Credit usage

    • All credits must be used 30 days from purchase date.
    • Credit packages may be used to book reformer and mat classes only.
    • Sauna credit packages may be used to book sauna sessions only.
    • FREE CLASS CREDIT usage is a one time offer for new clients ONLY- no show fee will be incurred along with forfeiture of your credit if you choose to not attend.
    • Community classes are reserved for new clients only and are designed to make Pilates more accessible to our community. Current members are not eligible and will be removed from the roster.

Grace Period

  • A 5-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. 
  • If you arrive more than 5-minutes late you will not be allowed to join the class- this will result in a $15 no-show fee and the forfeiture of your credit.
  • Our door will be locked at that five minute mark.

Waitlist

  • The waitlist is capped at five people.
  • Our automated system will move you into the roster up to two hours before class, with a notification email sent to confirm. (Please ensure email notifications are enabled.)
  • For openings within two hours of class, we will personally call or text to confirm attendance.
  • It is your responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist if you no longer plan to attend.

 

Class requisites

  • To join our Reformer 3 (Level 3) class, you must add yourself to the waitlist and contact the studio for approval.
  • Text us at (562) 777- 4865 to request your classes for the week.

 

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to retain your credit for both pilates and sauna. (This includes classes booked on Sunday for Monday.)

If you need to switch classes within 24 hours- it will count as a cancellation.

Fees

  •  Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will result in a $15 fee and forfeiture of your credit.
  • No-shows will also incur a $15 fee and loss of the associated credit.
  • Late-shows will also incur a $15 fee and loss of the associated credit. (we have a strict 5-minute grace period)

Memberships

  • All Refined Memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment. Cancellations cannot be made before this initial term is complete. 
  • After the 3-month period, cancellations require a 30-day written notice sent via email to: hello@refinedpilatesstudio.com.
  • Please note: We do not accept cancellations via text, phone, or social media DMs.

Children & Guests Policy

For the safety, comfort, and focus of all clients, children and non-participating guests are not permitted in the studio during classes or sessions.

Our space includes specialized equipment and limited room, which requires a controlled environment at all times. For this reason:
•    Only registered clients may be present in the studio during class
•    Children are not allowed to sit, wait, or roam the studio during sessions
•    Guests may not observe or accompany clients unless pre-approved by management for special events

We kindly ask clients to plan childcare and guest arrangements prior to their scheduled class. This policy helps us maintain a safe, focused, and respectful environment for everyone.

Photo And Video Policy

  • We love seeing your content—so snap away!
    • We welcome all types of photos and videos taken in-studio, before, during, or after class. Feel free to capture your movement, your glow, and your favorite moments with one of our tripods located by the cubbies for your convenience.
  • Don’t forget to tag us @RefinedPilatesStudio so we can hype you up and share the love!

Client Comfort & Religious Considerations

We respect and honor the diverse religious and personal beliefs of our clients. While our team includes instructors and staff of all genders, we are happy to notify clients in advance if a male staff member or client may be present during their reservation when requested.

If this presents a concern, please let us know and we will gladly work with you to find an alternative arrangement or reschedule your session when possible.
